What can we expect for this summer collection?
This collection really represents my careless and youthful summer style. To me, all pieces of this collection had to be versatile and if needed easily worn with a bikini. With an oversized cropped long sleeve, cropped tank, and comfy shorts - what else do you need! Summer is all about cool and breathable clothing. I wanted us all to feel that same energy.
Why the name “Welcome To The Youth Club” for this collection?
Summer is about being care free, youthful, and zero worries. I find myself always having the most fun, laying in the sun, and caring very little about anything. I wanted to translate that mentality to this drop and that’s how I came up with the name! Why don’t we all join the club and live to the fullest this summer. As much as we can!
What is your favorite piece out of this drop?
I truly love them all! I will be wearing them in rotation all summer (btw, ways I style them coming soon!) If I had to pick one I truly love the tank. Just because I am such a tank girl. That’s all I wear!
Explain the different pieces in this collection!
The “Scrabble Tank Top” is a scrabble design to showcase the fun little things about summer. Fun fact: the numbers to represent the Scrabble game are my graphic designer and I’s lucky numbers! The “Palm Cropped Long Sleeve” is a play on design and our name while still incorporating vintage summer sunset energy. The “Youth Club Shorts” are simple yet so versatile. They are breathable and are the final touch to the collection. Youthful. Summery. Careless. All there is to it!
What’s coming up for DD?
So much! I love designing and thinking outside of the box. DD is truly minimalist but really cool and fun. I want DD to stand out and when wearing it for everyone to feel comfortable yet sexy. I love coming up with collections that our customers truly need to have and feel excited to wear it. Coming up there’s going to be sets that are essentials and a MUST in one’s collection. Some more tanks coming your way and a feeling that you won’t get in anything else!
5 MUST haves during summer?
Sunscreen (Supergoop will always be my fav), cream blush, lip tint, tank top (ours ofc!), sneakers (I’ve been loving Nike Dunks atm), oh and ofc a bikini!
